Farming + Sustainability

In addition to land and water based activities, I have worked on farms and worked through the Office of Sustainability at Georgia College to run the compost project during my last semester in school in the Spring of 2018. I assisted with running the Middle Georgia Coop Stand at the Green Market in Milledgeville, volunteered at Rag and Frass Farm and was a member of the Gardening Club at Georgia College. Most recently, I have worked at Mountain Cloud Farm in Clark Fork, ID during the off season. Below are pictures from the farms and the compost site at the university!
"The soil is the great connector of lives, the source and destination of all. It is the healer and restorer and resurrector, by which disease passes into health, age into youth, death into life. Without proper care for it we can have no community, because without proper care for it we can have no life."
